It gives a Sable ship everything it needs to dive: ballast to go up and down, air for the crew, windows that hold under pressure, instruments to know how deep you can go, and propellers that work underwater. If you have never built a submarine before, read [Your first submarine](/create-deep-seas-wiki/getting-started/your-first-submarine.md) first.
