# Diving gear

A submarine keeps the water off you, but sooner or later you have to go out: to fix a cracked window, to grab something on the sea floor, or because the hull gave way. ## The Copper Diving Suit

Four pieces, two from Create and two from Deep Seas:

With all four worn:

* you hold out down to **280 m** instead of 120 m,
* your depth and your limit show in the bottom right corner of the screen while you are in the water,
* the helmet breathes from the Copper Backtanks in your inventory, since the chestplate takes the slot a backtank would use.

Three pieces are not enough: the suit only counts when the whole set is on. Create's netherite helmet and boots do not count either.

In the creative menu, the copper helmet and boots of Create have moved next to the chestplate and leggings, at the end of the Deep Seas section of the Aeronautics tab.
