# Hull

Any solid block can be part of a hull. These two are made for it: windows that hold almost as deep as the Abyss, and an airlock to get in and out underwater.

* [Pressurized Glass](/create-deep-seas-wiki/deep-seas/hull/pressurized-glass.md): iron and copper windows that hold down to 700 m.
* [Decompression Chamber](/create-deep-seas-wiki/deep-seas/hull/decompression-chamber.md): floods and empties an airlock.

What makes a hull sealed, and how deep each material can go, is explained in [Sealed hulls](/create-deep-seas-wiki/deep-seas/mechanics/sealed-hulls.md) and [Water pressure](/create-deep-seas-wiki/deep-seas/mechanics/water-pressure.md).
